This is just something I made tonight playing around in the kitchen..

You'll need two separate mixing bowls.

Bowl #1.

MF Vanilla Pudding (you could use a shake and it'd be more cakey, I ran out of the shakes and am using up my puddings).

1 tbsp sf vanilla syrup.

1/4 tsp baking powder.

Water to make a batter.

MF chocolate shake.

1 tbsp sf chocolate syrup.

1/4 tsp baking powder.

Water to make a batter.

I used two dessert cups. fill one half with choc. batter and the other half with vanilla batter. Microwave for approx 2 min.

I have to admit that it was still slightly batter-like and partially cake-like so those of you who are more expert in the kitchen can work out the kinks if you so desire, but I thought this was very ingenious of me being an amateur chef.

Kati ... love the name ... love the concept! I can't wait to try it..

I add a couple of TBS of eggbeaters to my cake recipes. Although I've have not yet tried it, some add a bit of ground flaxmeal to their cake recipes. It's supposed to help with texture..

Mmmm... sounds good!.

I like it batter-like. I find of leave these Medifast cakes out to cool for very long they get harder, so I like to leave them on the very moist side...

Sounds good to me too.

I like them battery ish too. Other wise they are too rubbery LOL..

Agreed. Undercooked and batter-like is better. Otherwise you can bounce some of the baked stuff off the wall. Sounds like something to try...

Are you cooking each one separately for 2 minutes or individually each for 2 minutes? Also don't do as I did with another recipe and make it too far ahead without freezing.... MOLD! Yuk and had to throw them out...

I made Kati's yin-yang cake on a cold afternoon and enjoyed it. The chocolate part was like a rich, moist brownie. I cooked two dessert cups (each filled with 1/2 vanilla, 1/2 chocolate mixture) at the same time for 2 minutes. I topped the one I ate right away with a tiny spritz of Fat Free Redi Wip...
