I like it as is, but have you tried the muffin recipe on the side of the box? It makes it portable and you can add different flavor extract to change up the taste a little. I made them with cinammon and almnond extract...

I'm afraid I still have a box lurking in the back of my pantry..

I figure next hurricane season I may get desperate!!!..

I am not a fan or anything peach flavored, although I do like fresh peaches. This morning I slept late and made a version of the pancake recipes I have seen out here. I love blueberry pancakes so I don't use a blender as I want to "see" the berries. If you let the batter sit for a bit it will be okay:.

I used two packets of Medifast Blueberry Oatmeal, 1 tsp. baking powder, a tiny pinch of salt, two packets of splenda, 4oz water and one whole egg with 1 tsp. vanilla extract. Mixed it up let it sit while I made coffee, etc. On a griddle with non-stick surface I got six really good sized pancakes.

It was breakfast and mid morning for me and I think one ounce of my lean. I can live with that.

My peach oatmeal is a last's really bad. I put a packet of splenda in it too, thinking it would help. Not so much..

Um, return it? Yucko - that's what I did!.

Ok, I actually like the Peach Oatmeal. That said, it makes good muffins that will taste more like the flavoring and shake you put in them particularly if you go chocolate than the original flavor of the oatmeal base:.

I use the one that calls for two packs of oatmeal, any shake or pudding, about 2 T SF syrup, 1/4 tsp or so of baking powder, an egg white, two tablespoons of flax (optional), couple of drops of vanilla or maple extract (optional), and Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi (or your fave diet soda or water) to make a batter. Bake at 350 degrees until it springs back. Yummy...

I used to be able to bear the peach oatmeal, then I made the muffin recipe on the side of the box and it was gross! I havent had peach oatmeal since then..

Oh man! Everyone's taste is so different! I on the other hand, really like the peach oatmeal. Just yesterday I was getting ready to put the oatmeal in the microwave but actually mixed it really well with a spoon and left it on my desk for about 5-10 minutes. It turned into like a thick oatmeal, and tasted like cold cereal. I really liked it! Although I can just see some people wrinkling their nose at the thought of that!!.

Cold Peach Oatmeal?..

I don't hate the Peach Oatmeal, but it is definitely not my favorite. I use it in a muffin recipe found on these discussion boards (there are several floating around). The one I have been using lately calls for 3pkgs oatmeal, 1pkg chocolate pudding, 1Tblsp cocoa, 4tsp baking powder mixed together. Mix separately 1pkg scrambled eggs, 3/4c water, 1/2c sugar-free maple syrup (or chocolate syrup) and 2 tsp vanilla. Once the scrambled eggs are soaked, add to the dry mixture, pour into muffin tin that has been sprayed and cook at 350 degrees for 15min. This is delicious!.

Hope you like the recipe. It is good and also very portable!..

I forgot to add - make 10 muffins, then 2 muffins count as one meal...

I LOVE the peach oatmeal. And the irony is this was my least favorite of interest when I frst got my order. I tried it one morning with my mindset that I wasn't going to like it. Well, I love it! I add a few sprays of ICBINB and a shot of SF Vanilla syrup. YUMMY!!.
