Hmmm, the chili. I tried to make chips out of it - it didn't work, I soaked it - nope, I put more and less water in it - NOpe.

Anybody have any ideas? I'm addicted to those damn COB chips and I discovered that AFTER I reordered!.

Thanks!..

I don't know about making chips out of it (might try MB to take out the chunks), but to just eat it I put Cumin, Chili Powder, salt, pepper, and a good bit of Frank's (like tobasco). Others have suggested salsa..

Steph..

Add 1 or 2 oz. of your lean-precooked (I used ground turkey or lean beef) and cook on the stove. Add Chili, lean meat, and 1 tsp. chili powder to 1 1/2 C of water in a small saucepan, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 min., allow to cool then eat (I also added some tobasco sauce at the end).

This is the only way I found it edible and it got me through the one box that came with my variety pack..

GOOD LUCK!..

Chili is my favorite...but cook it in advance ( I do it in the morning then re-heat for lunch) and add the spices (chili powder, cumin, garlic powder) and then a Tablespoon of chopped tomatoes. I also sometimes do the ground turkey if I have some leftover from L & G. I eat the chili every day...just tweak it a little and I think you'll learn to enjoy it!!~..

I added less than the amount of water recommended and mixed in some shiratake "noodles". It was palatable but not something I would order again if I have the choice...

Chili is my favorite Medifast meal. I cook it as directed in the microwave and add 2 spoonsful of hot salsa. I eat it every day...

I soak the chili overnight with some added cumin. When I prepare it for lunch the next day, I microwave it for one minute, stir, microwave another minute, then add couple tablespoons salsa and one wedge of Happy Cow cheese, then microwave an additional minute. This is the only way the chili is satisfying to me. You got to watch all the "add ons" so I only eat the chili twice a week...
