Leptopril Review : Does it Work?

More and more people waste precious money of new diet pills every year. Some of them work, but for the most part they are a waste of money. Leptopril is another one of those weight loss supplements they all want you to buy. It's been featured in TV infomercials, radio commercials, and websites. Is it a waste of money/time, but is it one of those rare pills that actually work?

Here are some things you need to know about Leptopril before you consider buying it:

1. The company that sells Leptopril claim that it contains substances that modify your genetic code that will help reduce body fat.

2. It also contains substances that suppress your appetite, but still keep you energized throughout the day. If this is true, this is what you want in a diet pill. The reason most diets fail is because you eventually starve yourself to the point, where you eventually lose energy. At this point you can't help yourself but overeat, because your body needs more energy.

3. Leptopril is a product that should not be used if you simply want to lose a couple of pounds. However, if you want to lose a lot of lbs, such as 50+ they claim Leptopril is for you. Whether that is the case remains to be seen.

Here are some reviews my fellow visitors have emailed me regarding Leptopril. Should you spend your money buying it, or should you look elsewhere? Read on to find out:

"Ok, so I saw an infomercial for Leptopril one Friday evening (I got no life)... It looks convincing and I loved the fact that it basically supplies you with much needed energy even though it suppresses your appetite. I bought a month's supply of it, and was eager to start losing weight. Well, I've been on this regimen for close to 2 months, and I can say that it is not a complete waste of money.

The results are mixed.. I went from 220 lbs to 215 lbs. 5 lbs may not seem like a whole lot, but to me it is. I have struggled to lose more than 5 lbs throughout my life. I've even starved myself by fasting for days, and i still didn't lose anything! Well, leptopril was successful in that aspect. I didn't feel hungry at any point, so it really suppressed my appetite really well!

However, the bad part.. the side effects. I expected none since they claim it's a natural product. Well, they lied. Sometimes throughout the day, I get frequent headaches and stomachaches. I had to take 3 sick days over a week because I simply felt dizzy a couple of times in 1 day. I couldn't concentrate on my work, and felt so drowsy I wanted to just drop down and sleep. I knew this was because of Leptopril because as soon as i stopped taking it, those symptoms disappeared.

I don't know what I'm gonna do, honestly. I might just stop taking Leptopril, but the thing is it has helped so far. I might consider taking it for another week or so, and see if I get used to those side effects. If not, I might just stop taking it.

"My friend bought my Leptopril, and told me how they claimed it could help you lose a lot of weight fast. I tried a ton of products such as Trimspa, and Lipozene. They have not worked. Add Leptopril to that list. Even though they say you have to take it for at least a month, after 2 weeks I knew it wasn't working at all. My weight was 307 lbs, and after 2 weeks, I gained 1 lb. Yes, I actually GAINED a single lb, instead of losing weight.

But that isn't the huge reason why I'm stopping Leptopril. The truth is, I started feeling dizzy a lot during the day when I took it. At night, I had panic attacks and seriously thought I was dead one time. I also have stomachaches, and I haven't felt the same... I feel tired all the time. I haven't lose any weight, and I feel awful.. who can blame me for not taking anymore? If it works for you, continue taking it. But for me, I know it's a waste!"

"So, I bought this weight loss supplement a few weeks ago, and am currently taking it. It looks promising so far, as I have gone from 176 to 173 lbs after 1 week, but we'll see. Most weight loss diets have not worked for me. I am keeping a diary to keep track of my weight loss. I don't feel the need to eat a lot, and it's been successful in making me feel full. Let's see if this continues! I have high hopes"

- Matt Saunders

"I took Leptopril for more than 3 weeks, and after 3 days, I lose 2 lbs, which was stunning! Then i realized it was a fluke, and probably water weight, because after 1 week, I gained those 2 lbs back. I haven't lose a single lb afterwards. I am following all the tips and directions. I called the company to ask why I havent lost any lbs, but they don't even give me a good answer.. just tell me to continue taking it.

I am starting to feel I was ripped off, and after reading many reviews on various health and weight loss message boards, that may indeed be the case. I knew I shouldn't have trusted an infomercial product, but their claims seem so true, and convincing.. well I guess it shows everyone is out to rip you off in this country.. what a poor state of affairs. I'm gonna continue taking it for a week, but if it doesn't do anything, I'm just gonna dump this one in the dumpster!"

- Ricky Jordan

"I took Leptropril earlier this year, and so far I have lost 20 lbs after 3 months. I take 2 pills, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I only eat 2 meals a day, and they're all small healthy meals. In addition to losing weight, I feel I have more energy.. I feel like going outside and playing volleyball everyday after work, instead of sitting around playing PC games and watching CSI.. lol. For those keeping count, I was 350 before the program, and now I'm 330 lbs. One thing I have to say is that after taking it for 3 months, I didn't experienced ANY more weight loss. I'm still at 330 (well 328 to accurate), and I'm starting to wonder if I've reached my plateau.

If this is the case, then maybe Leptopril will help you lose those annoying 10-20 lbs, but after that you will have to switch to another diet program if you wish to continue losing weight. Anyway, if you just want to lose 20 lbs, then Leptopril will help you. If you want to lose more, you have to look for another alternative afterwards. That's my review"

- Jake Pitsnooger

From the bulk of the reviews, it seems Leptopril is just another mediocre product that has not worked for the majority of people wanting to lose weight. It may be the case that I've taken too small of a sample size, but I highly doubt it. If you want a diet pill that will help you lose weight permanently with no severe side effects, stay away from Leptopril.

If you lose just a few lbs in the first week, but not afterwards, it means you just lost water weight, folks! Not real body fat... So, finally I'd just recommend everyone to avoid this diet pill, and consider just eating healthier, avoiding bad protein, and continue to consume foods with good fat and sugar.

To effectively lose weight, you must find a way to reduce your appetite. One product that does this is Hoodia Gordonii Plus, which can suppress your appetite, boost your metabolism, burn fat, as well as give you most energy. I personally tried Hoodia Gordonii a few years ago, and it helped me lose 15 lbs a month, and go down from 210 to under 150 lbs in a year.
