I have been looking for the cracker recipe. do you happen to have it handy?.
What you just had sounds good!..
Do a search (click on "search" in the orange strip just above the messages) and type in "cracker recipe". Then click on the thread entitled "Cheese Crackers" by crusin240. You will get the recipe on this thread..
I've tried it, but I am sure I did not do it correctly. Mine did not come out. I found them difficult to turn over midway through baking as called for in the recipe. I'm a muffin person and enjoy making them in a mini-loaf pan. If interested do a search by typing in "modified oatmeal muffin recipe."..
OMG that sounds so yummy. I loved having cottage cheese melted on toast... This might just help me in that department. Thanks JudyO!!! I am going to try this this weekend..
Sorry I meant Bettinav... Oye... I need a new brain, can anyone help with that????.
Maybe Medifast can come up with a MediBrain???..
This is the version I use for cracker crust... It is so yummy! It makes 2 crusts. They EACH count as a Medifast meal and a snack..
2 Medifast Cream of Chicken Pkts.
2 Medifast Veggie or Multigrain Cracker Pkts (remember to count them as your snack for the day).
1 T Canola Oil (I think you can decrease this to 2 tsp-I will try it next time).
1-2 tsp water (to make it just stick together).
Pulse dry Medifast ingredients into a flour consistency in food processor (or I suppose you can use a blender). Place dry mixture in mixing bowl. Add oil and mix. Then add water a bit at a time until you get a ball that is JUST stuck together-don't use too much. Divide into 2 balls. Flatten in your hands like a thin pancake.
Place on cookie sheet covered with Reynold's Release foil in a 375 deg oven for 5 min. Flip, bake 6-7 more minutes..
This comes out crunchy and just yummy!!!! Eat as is like a Cracker Bread or add toppings..
I hope you like it..
You can also use Flax Oil, Olive Oil or another more health-ful oil. Canola is all I had on hand...
