There are lots of recipes under the Medifast Forums/Sharing Ideas/mmmm....recipes..
I would recommend you start out selecting items from the L & G lists. I would just make a steak/chicken, etc. and have a salad or other green options. Alot of the recipe use condiments and trust me that is a way to get in trouble. Been there done that! Since you only get 3 condiments, it's easy to let it get out of hand. Keep it basic the first couple weeks..

Although the recipes are fun and oh so delicious- for at least the first few weeks I would go as plain as you can. a lean and 3 greens. save the recipes for after you get in the groove. Good luck and do let us know how you are on Monday..
Yep what she said! I kept it pretty simple for the longest time and as I got further along I added things in....best way to keep it is SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE!!!..
Ok .... so simple for the L & G is like a chicken breast and salad, or turkey burger (no bread) and a veggie. Correct? Am I on the right track? I agree to keep it very simple to start -.

You got it! You can have steak, chicken, fish - go over the list of Meat Option list, different choices have different amounts, same goes for the veggies, some are higher in carbs. If you don't have a scale that weighs grams that is a good investment. Measuring vegetables, such as lettuce is tough and many times you will short yourself on that category, but if you can measure in grams you will be sure to get the correct amount..
I use the meatless list and make eggs, or the Morningstar Pizza Veggie Burgers are good and you get two..
I have a listing of all the veggies and and what grams they are worth. It's in a pdf file and I attached it here, hopefully it worked...
