Learn the Secret to Losing Weight...
Should I Buy Cheap Bontril ?
Many people inquire as to whether they should consult their doctor and ask for a prescription of Bontril. Unfortunately, I haven't tried Bontril, but one my best friends Jane has tried it, so we invited her to write a guest article reviewing Bontril. Does it work for weight loss or not? Read on to find out.
What do I think of Bontril?
Because of how ineffective it is, and the huge number of side effects, I simply can't recommend this diet supplement to people. If you want a good natural diet supplement, you should definitely look at Hoodia Gordonii. I went from 200 lbs to 135 with Hoodia Gordonii, and it did so with Absolutely No Side Effects.Learn More About Hoodia Gordonii...
First off, what is Bontril?
Bontril, like many weight loss drugs claims to work effectively for losing weight because it suppresses your appetite. When used, in combination with a rigorous, enjoyable exercise routine, and a strict diet, one theoretically should lose plenty of body fat. Bontril also claims to boost your metabolism.
I was prescribed Bontril, and was able to buy it for a cheap price. I took it for more than a month, and my results were mixed, and ultimately I was disappointed with the results. My story went like this: I was more than 40 lbs overweight, weighing at 220 lbs. Ever since I had my first child, I had trouble keeping the weight off. I tried so many things, including those diet pills such as Trimspa, and Hoodia. None of them worked... all of them had the same problems - I managed to lose some weight in the first week or 2, but afterwards it kept coming back gradually.
I also tried the Atkins Diet when it was popular, and had an awful experience with it, as I constantly had bouts of low energy, and headaches. I also tried the South Beach Diet, and did have some success with it, but once again the weight came coming back. I tried Weight Watchers, and countless weight loss programs. It was frustrating, and at one point in my life I contemplated just giving up completely. Most skinny people don't know how well they have it.. I was constantly teased of my obesity ever since I was in elementary school.
Well, after a visit to my physician, he suggested that I had 3 possible options: continue finding the optimal diet, be prescribed an appetite suppressor like Bontril, or surgery. Since, I was never going to resort to surgery, I decided to go with Bontril. Fortunately he was able to get it to me for a cheap price.
After the first week, I did lose a good 2 lbs. It showed some promise, so I decided to continue taking it ( I didn't really have a choice, as my doctor suggested I keep taking it until he told me to stop). After 2 weeks, however, I developed some severe side effects. These included:
- Nausea, feelings of dizziness, and headaches at times
- High blood pressure
- Trouble sleeping at night
- A dry mouth with lots of cold sores
- Bad, unhealthy bowel movements
- Mood swings
I went back to my doctor, and told him about these symptoms I was feeling. I knew it wasn't normal, and I knew it was because of the Bontril. My doctor told me to continue taking it for another month.
Well, I heeded his advice, and took it for 1 more month. Unfortunately the side effects continued, and I just couldn't take it anymore. I went back and told him to put me off it. Eventually I just stopped taking it completely.
One of the worse side effects is those feelings of nausea I felt constantly during the day. I literally couldn't concentrate, or focus on anything, and it led me to being fired from my job. I wanted to take something to suppress those headaches, but couldn't because I was afraid it could create complications with Bontril.
As much as I desperately want to lose weight, I learned that you can't sacrifice your well being, and health in return. Taking dangerous drugs that have tons of side effects might help you lose some weight, but it won't do you any good if it endangers your life, and possibly cause early death. I will never taken Bontril, Ephedrine, or any other dangerous unnatural weight loss drugs for the rest of my life.
Who should avoid Bontril?
I recommend not getting Bontril at all, but if you have a long history fo drug abuse, you really shouldn't be prescribed Bontril at all, as it can be addictive, and habit-forming. If you have a history of high blood pressure and hypertension you also shouldn't be taking Bontril. Instead you should opt for more natural alternatives such as Herbal Phentermine.
What have others said about Bontril?
"I took Bontril for 2 months a few years ago. One of my complaints was that I started to develop these panic and anxiety attacks frequently. I couldn't sleep at night and just felt overstimulated. I ended up stopping taking Bontril. As for weight loss? It did help me lose 10 lbs over 2 months, but I didn't think it was worth it considered the pains and side effects I had to undergo..."
- Robert Tyrece
"I've been suffering from obesity ever since I was 18. After being prescribed Bontril, I lost 20 lbs over a course of 2 months. The side effects that come with Bontril are indeed true, but I tolerated it pretty well. However, recently I am having some trouble shedding even more weight. I am considering trying another supplement in the future, as I've seemed to bump into a wall. Overall, I would recommend Bontril if you want to lose 10-20 lbs. After that, it seems to stop working."

To effectively lose weight, you must find a way to reduce your appetite. One product that does this is Hoodia Gordonii Plus, which can suppress your appetite, boost your metabolism, burn fat, as well as give you most energy. I personally tried Hoodia Gordonii a few years ago, and it helped me lose 15 lbs a month, and go down from 210 to under 150 lbs in a year.
