Got a quick question: Anyone tried Medifast? Help please!? Hoping for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Ok so Sunday a bunch of friends were going out for lunch and we decided to go. Ive been OP since day 1 and that was 7 months ago..

I had chips, then a bean burrito and then chicken tacos. It was SOOOO good..

I say all that to say this. It was so NOT worth it. Im not worried about the 3lbs I put back on, I know they will come off. Im focused so I have no worry about going into a binge. If I cant go out every now and then and eat unhealthy then I probably have no reason for loosing in the first place. Its going to happen..

We felt so horrible after wards. We couldnt believe that we ate like that on a dialy basis. We were lethargic for the rest of the day and basically sat on the couch watching TV. I was full at the halfway point of the bean burrito but being raised to finish everything on my plate I had the impulse to eat all that I ordered. We couldnt believe we ate that much food in the past. It was sooooo much.

Anyway. I now know what will happen if we do go out and know to order WAY less food next time. Getting ready to knock these last 20 lbs out and get onto maint...

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Don't beat yourself up about it. after being on this program for so long I would imagine that you forget how bad the taboo food can make you feel. One day won't ruin all of the hard work you did. It sounds like you're raring to go again so congrats on being able to leave the slip up behind you!..

I think by feeling so bad about "cheating", you're giving food power over you. Food is food, no matter what.. Some are better for you than others. By labeling food good and bad, you're more likely to eat your heart out when you do have a taste of "bad" food, because it is just soooo good! Haha. Just watch your portions...

A trainer I had a few years ago told me when you do eat "unhealthy" food or eat too much, and are full the rest of the day: 1) still eat your healthy snack a few hours later to keep your metabolism up. If you eat nothing, the food will set there. If you eat a snack, even though you're not hungry, your metabolism will burn off what you just ate instead of letting your body store it. 2) Drink lots of water! It really is a huge part of everything your body does, and will make a huge difference..

You have done great with your weight loss, no need to feel guilty. Just watch your portions and enjoy the "bad" in moderation! Hope this helps! Keep up the good work!..

LOL, I dont feel bad about it at all. It was yummy..

Back on plan though. Got to get this last 20 lbs off and run my first 5k..

I wasnt posting this cause I felt bad or needed support, although I GREATLY appreciate it. I mainly posted it for those that were thinking of cheating or thinking they just HAD to have it..

Your not going to feel all that great afterwards. LOL..

You must admit that you did GREat on your success thus far and was committed for 7 straight months...gotta give yourself props for that....I did the same thing in the beginning of my journey was great for 7 months then went into "steph funkville" lol but I made it through all of 247 now out of over all high of hells yeah I did great I think just like you....

Yeah, it might have been GOOD for you to eat that stuff..I thought the same when I had my little binge here and there..but I felt like crap...I didnt move I just slept all day after I pigged out LOL.....

Just jump right back on the wagon and you will get to GOAL! Maybe you jump started your weightloss again heehee!..

I totally get what you're saying........that's absolutely what feel physically AWFUL......and yes....STARVING the next day. Bad food is like's addicting and makes your body only want more. Holy's no wonder we are all having weight issues. It otta be illegal!!!..

This is JUST what I needed to read tonight!! I'm leaving for vacation in the morning and even though I packed plenty of Medifast food, and plan on sticking to 4&2 I have been considering "enjoying" my vacation. But in reality, eating junk all week is not going to be enjoyable...there are so many other ways to have a good time. It's hard to break old habits though, to me vacation was all about planning great meals and drinks.....

When you re-awaken your taste buds to sludgy foods it is hard to put that desire to rest again. I've heard of people doing that and then a few weeks later comes the post "I just don't know what happened, I can't seem to stay on plan for a single day!".

Resolve is a gift. I try very hard not to take mine for granted. Once broken, it is 100X easier to be broken again very soon..

I don't mean to discourage you, but I do want to encourage anyone who is thinking it isn't big deal to go off once after a great period of success to rethink their decision..
